My Fondest Memory

I remember the first time you held my hand, Our fingers intertwined. I was shy. For the love of me I can't remember why. But I saw the way you looked at me. That was it, I was a goner. And so were you. But that was a truth you just couldn't bare to face. Still can't bare to face. I'll forever remember the way you held my hand that first time. I'll hold on to that memory like you held on to my hand.
