My First Tv

When I was young we had a TV There were only 3 channels to choose Black and white was all you could see And one channel was mostly news If you wanted to change the channel You had to get up out of your chair If you wanted to see what was on The TV guide to read was there Cartoons only came on once a week On Saturday morning was it At night our bedtime was 8 o'clock Don' think we didn't throw a fit! But we'd go ahead and turn it off The tube light the size of a dime Slowly, gradually dimmed clear out Which meant that it was bed time!
