Special thanks to Arthur Vaso for inspiring me with his recent poem which was awarded Poem of the Day. An edited version of this poem will feature on the back cover of my next book 'Toilet Humour and Risque Rhymes.

I will NEVER be deterred from trying to make folk laugh with my silly poems, With my love of toilet humour, I guess like Peter Pan, I just never grew up! 08/22/24

My favourite poet is ME
I’m obsessed with pooping and pee
So I’m a crap poet
Oh boy do I know it
My poem fans may disagree!
 
Some people may think I’m a schnook
For writing a second rude book
But I’m not lost for words
Writing of pee and turds
When published, will YOU dare to look!

Some snowflakes may say it's just crap, a sense of humour is something they lack, in a world of their own, all they do is moan, you must never fall into their trap.

I will NEVER bow down to the trolls and bullies John, if they dont like my style so be it, but humour is subjective and not for everyone but if folk dont like it, i will not curl up and cry and just wish they would leave folk alone:-( hugs Jan xx

My favourite poet is you, I'm most definitely not a prude, your lots of fun, with humour second to none, the funniest limericks of all are rude.

I have added another verse to this for the back of the book - I will not be doing a second book so 'Toilet humour and risque rhymes' will have a few more poems than 'A giggle a day... can chase the blues away' hugs jan xx

Aww thanks Jim, i hope you aren't disappointed with the book! I have recently completed an epic saga for the first poem in the toilet humour section for Book # 2., Originally it was 2 verses, then 3. I thought I was happy with that but then verse 4 came to me... I thought that was the end but then verse 5 was written - its an epic toilet humour poem lol . my friend Erica was crying laughing when she got a preview lol - It will never to be posted on soup of course lol:-) hugs Jan xx

Thanks Karen, after 10 years on the site I still get snide comments about poop poetry but I am flushed with success with the first book and the next book has a whole section dedicated to toilet humour! hugs jan xx

so funny, however if you look up "ME" in Websters new modern English dictionary it is as follows ME: 1) abbreviation for Arthur Vaso, as in mArthur eVaso, the romantic form for saying his name 2) It used to mean Shakespeare but in 2014 Websters changed the meaning to Arthur Vaso, ( Trump tried to have this meaning removed but he failed, cause only Arthur Vaso can make poetry great again)

Jan, David made a comment on my Twisted Fairytales poem about "letting one rip from the rump." I told him it was the comment of the day, so perhaps you could make a limerick out of that. lol btw Chick, if growing up means you become sarcastic, arrogant, and preach to people who are not interested, I'll stay the way I am and prefer making people laugh like you do. Being a bully is not a nice character trait. Having Peter Pan Syndrome is something to crow about... like Peter did.

No one should ever have to tolerate being bullied. I'm really not interested in anything he writes. It's worthless dribble, but you can fill me in and then WE can laugh at his audacity.

I’m of the opinion that it takes a really top poet to write good fun, clever, cutting, biting, sarcastic, limericks Jan, just because you write about crap, doesn’t mean you’re crap, all the best with book #2 and possibly a turd lol! Cheers David

To be honest David, writing humour is quite an art and i will never stop trying to raise a smile with my sillies - I'm writing more and more new materiel but i wont be posting them on soup, maybe after the next book is published i will start to be more active with writing but who knows :-) hugs jan xx

aww thanks Ilene, I voice recorded quite a few new poems on Tuesday and have 13 more to go in the next book:-) would love to meet you and let you have a signed copy as i would others on soup! we could swap books - wouldn't that be an amazing experience i do hope you self publish too! hugs jan xx

And we are so glad that you "never grew up!" That song from Peter Pan is one of my all time favs and the watchword of my life - a little kid at heart who won't grow up until I'm 92 then I'm wearing high heeled tennies and driving a golf cart in the bike lane! Stay with us Jan and keep us laughing at life and ourselves especially when the sh... hits the fan! Blessings my friend.

Write on! Thumbs up my friend! I don't understand personal vendettas or campaigns to harass another writer. Seems we have enough to do just writing and trying to keep up with responding to emails from fellow soupers. Obviously this guy needs to get a life for, after all, there is a place in the choir for everyone! Hugs and blessings!

I will never stop tryng to make folk smile with my silly poems - have been mocked blocked and bullied since I joined soup - one guy even wanted a dual to see if my poop was more popular than his superior sonnets - I stopped writing for a week but friends persuaded me to come back and stand up to them - its still happening now but I am here to stay!:-) hugs jan xx
