My Favorite Unscrupulous Hero
Pray, tell me, do you know about Iznogood
The one little being made of no good
Always was he scheming to climb the ladders of power
Always ending up as a failure, however
I like him lots,
Even if he is not so hot
I like him for he is one of a kind
Yet, he represents all of humankind
Always are we all envious of the ones we admire
Always do we want to be like them
Down, shall we easily bring them
Shall we even, at them, a missile, do fire
Iznogood I am sure, is good deep down
Even if all he does aspire is the crown
Even if he is not satisfied with what he does have
Even if he dreams of being so brave
Iznogood is and shall remain my favorite hero
Even if he ends in failure, even if he is always in sorrow
But, I do like him, for he never gives up
Yes, Iznogood is my favorite, even if his aim remains always a great flop
