My Evil Best Friend

Well, here we meet again. God how I've missed you! Your horrible taste, your smoothe destruction, your silent demise in a pretty bottle. You are my evil best friend, yet my feared bygon. You age me like heroin. With an over whelming presence you abuse your welcome, but yet I never evict you. Your own house key, you pay no rent... Just kick up your heels and let me help myself. From the occassional wine drinker at dinner, to the drunk on the corner, come one come all! Your persuasion has me beside myself, rape, incest, organ failure, theft, ageing, rejection, desperation, lonliness, endless apologies, ugly, hate, desecption, soreness, eviction, lies and death, but yet, my body craves your satanic fluid! It's that first drink that does it... Oh there you are! Thank you! One after another until it stops hurting. And although a rookie believes that the pain disapears and the problems go away. Until the true alcoholic is born and knows that it doesn't. It just digs a little deeper in me and rests until I wake up. Dizzy, sick and regretful, I vomit and start all over again...
