My Dear Husband
You make my heart to race,
Then calm my racing heart,
With you, the world, I'll face,
Your love's my truest part,
Passion has its own hues,
A rainbow world I see,
You're my dear and my muse,
You make me feel like me,
You stir deep my senses,
I need you by my side,
You break my defenses,
And open my love tide,
You know me inside out,
Hearts entwined, fears perish,
To the world, I will shout,
I am yours to cherish,
Each day I spend with you,
Flowers beneath my feet,
Each night, our vows renew,
You treat me well, you're sweet,
When my faith is sinking,
You hold me up with care,
Hope whispers, cross-linking,
"You're my answered prayer".
