My Day

I wander as I wonder
just how far away to roam.
Should I stop and ponder
if I should have stayed at home.
Don't know where I'm going,
not sure where I've really been.
The pay's no more for knowing
about things I've never seen.
But on I trudge without a map
with no guide to lead the way.
Maybe I should stop and nap.
A brilliant way to spend a day.
