My lovely kitten laps up milk I stroke her fur it’s as smooth as silk Fluffy espies butterflies with delight she wants to play, paws reach out - her new friends fly away! She clambers upon the garden wall loses her footing, I watch her fall Meowing loudly I hear her call next minute, she’s chasing her new ball! curious kitten frolics in the summer sun … poppies sway in breeze nature themes, kitten, garden, butterflies Writing Challenge - Nature, Four in One - Poetry Contest Sponsored by Constance La France 09/13/20

Your kitten is just too lovely my friend. We have never had a cat, but neighbors of ours have one and it has adopted us, also a a very cute cat, a tabby. This poem is beautiful - good luck Jan. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

You did wonderfully with the themes here, Jan. Were we required to say which nature items we drew on? I still have not posted mine. I have about six poems yet unposted! Hope you are enjoying the day. Joe gets home early now on Sunday and I still have ten more poets I need to read.
