My Collection of Haiku

Collection of Haiku My Poetry group was asking everyone to submit haiku regarding current season. This is mine. Would watch the leaves fall Waiting for winter's coming Snow that did come soon. Christmas soon was here Saw toys under the tree Which one was for me. Wind would blow the snow And did form a big large drift We went sledding down. New year it was near To separate old from new There waiting for me. Story I had read About stocking and candy God had left for me. Looked on calendar Winter will be before spring Flowers start to bloom. When I wrote this poem I had all of you in mind Who should write more poems.
