My Chocolate Easter Tradition

I see full moon appear.
This means Easter is near.
For students I will make
chocolate Easter nests, no-bake.
I do this every year.

Making the nests is fun
and easy for nearly everyone.
Melt chocolate; add coconut in.
The mixture is not thin.
Form into nests; almost done!

Into each nest put candy.
Jelly bean eggs are handy.
For coconut, green food dye
is grass where eggs lie.
My Easter nests are dandy!

I didn't know that a recipe or one of sorts made for some good poetry, and now I do. My apologizes for the comments to take forever. Congrats on your win in my contest. By the way, those sound easy to make.

Congratulations, dear poetess, on your placement in this poetry Contest. Nice sharing the recipe for chocolate nests. How skilful you are. Apart from penning sweet poems, you have an expert hand in carving delicious candies. Sending to you the blessings of light.

Ah dear sweet andrea For Easter do you also know when its Easter by the phase of moon? Like how we decide eid! Is that picture yours or from the internet? I know you bake well and you do come up with interesting and delicious recipes for your students! How fun and lucky to have a teacher like you! I wish you were my teacher hah! Would be so cool. I hope Easter celebration goes well! We also have the celebration in resorts and do fun activities like egg hunting! My son when he was little i used to let him join, he just enjoyed egg hunting, he had no idea what Easter was! Anyway, enjoy your celebration! Sending you light always my sweet soul aunt! Hugsz

Andrea, the wanna be preacher has been dusting his pulpit lately, talking the talk but missteps don't allow walking the walk on the narrow path. Your chocolate treats look delicious. Wish I had some!

Ha! I have enough problems dealing with my Mormon family members. Everyone thinks they have the "right" way! Wish you could have some of my treats!

Yummy-looking way, esp. this year, to avoid the 'eggageratedly' high price of eggs.
