My Chanced and Borrowed Soul
Upon my chanced and borrowed soul,
awaits my sins for Judgement day.
For when it is I meet my end,
I'll stand alone before His eyes.
Awaits my sins, for Judgement day,
no one else may plead my case.
I'll stand alone before His eyes,
as my sins are read aloud.
No one else may plead my case,
I place myself to His compassion.
As my sins are read aloud
and with His touch upon my heart.
I place myself to His compassion,
hoping my sins are forgiven.
And with His touch upon my heart,
I pray a lightness does invade.
Hoping my sins are forgiven.
For when it is I meet my end,
I pray a lightness does invade.
upon my chanced and borrowed soul.
