My Birthday

a birthday in December sets you apart, as it is the end of the year not the start, but with Christmas to follow, it is not bad, a new year thereafter, you should be glad, every day is special but birthday is a win, so greetings to you dear Milton Hankins!

Christmas was always what made my December special. Both grandparents lived close but in different cities and my sister and I got presents at home and one gift at each grandparents house as well. We drew names to give to each year.

1941: 5th December and the chances of Japanese total victory drifts away from the Japanese at Pearl Harbour. I'm the big Six - OH! next week and still think I'm 26 or there about...and I'm drifting.. Have a great holiday Milt. :) Cheers - Gary
