My Best Friend
whisper to me your words
and i will listen
lend you my angel wing
that when you need to cry
above moonlight that shines bright
ill carry your tears away into the night
i keep your words close to my heart
a moment in silence
in dance i offer you my soul
my eyes that fill romance
yet still the night you wonder
in search of you
to take my hand
to listen and hear my call
silent tears that fill
the night stars look up to the moon
as clouds stand still
with all my heart
my one and only best friend
i look up to when i feel down
you replace me with a smile
instead of a frown
within my eyes..im truly blessed
a best friend forever and always
that lights up through my darkest days..
