My Best Friend
No need to PRETEND, my best FRIEND, never you'll leave me alone
be it, in need, be it, for fun, given me the pure gold love
you and i KNOW, there is no GLOW, if we cross our comfort zone
the world, assume, make perceptions, let’s give them a hefty shove
The waves COME, kiss the sand with a HUM, and leave a happy shore
every moment, grows a yearning hope, share they secrets of life
yet NEVER, they wait FOREVER, for freedom’s sake, they adore
you, the shore, I’m the wave, we live in harmony, no strife
Sure DISBELIEF, sigh of RELIEF, our hearts don't beat together
time is not a prisoner, sure it flows, through our hands, its free
dreams we SHARE, are songs on AIR, two strange octaves altogether
yet we feel we are twin flowers, swing in wind, lit up with glee
No need to BLUSH, no need to RUSH, love is just like a slow train
admire, the beauty of life, admire, the differences in hue
enjoy the BEST, leave alone the REST, together, feel the pain
kind soul, I’m glad, you are my best friend and my life partner too
