My Bed

My bed, the place I love the most
in my small universe
While in it, I am the perfect host
I entertain and I converse

There I can push the pain away
And words are flowing freely
Why not let me forever stay
Where I so much wish to be?

Aim is to fixate part of my back
While strengthening the rest
I know it's needed, but just YECK!
I think, just let it rest, rest...

So here I am, depressed they say
But I say realistic
But I'll give in to them either way
Make them feel fantastic

I close my eyes, no I don't sleep
My words are flowing freely
Unlike my tears, I only weep
Online, on Soup, yeah... really....
