"My Beautiful Dreamer"


My Beautiful Dreamer
“thinks she goes unseen”, Her.
she’s a million miles away
lost in the Lilacs and
Chantilly Lace of 
her beautiful dream, her.

My Beautiful Dreamer
dreaming of a better home
sunrays and moonbeams
bigger yard, smaller city
a flashy car, no drone
where life’s not ugly 
life is pretty, clean, 
Hidden. 
Unseen.

My Beautiful Dreamer
turns her back 
on love and harder days trading
promises from bedrock
for a bed of softer Roses
dancing war dance
Ring-a-Round-the-Posies.

My Beautiful Dreamer
thinks she goes unseen
she’s a million miles away from Her
in her beautiful fragile 
dreaming dreams

Ice-cream cones, runny noses
Starfish hiding under rocks
playing hide-and-seek in 
the Mermaid’s Cave, FairLight
diving deep she is
very Brave and bright.

My Beautiful Dreamer
dreams of love and 
soft-mouthed winners
she sees a sinner
he’s not winning, 
but she loves him just the same,
the void grows dimmer

My Beautiful Dreamer
walking tight-ropes 
the veil is getting thinner
Mother’s Love
meets her in her dreams
carries her to better times 
close held promises of
Golden Chords, 
and Nursery Ryhmes

My Beautiful Dreamer
Loving arms embrace her 
in her dreams of Winter 
it is a torrid Summer when
the Piper's Wicked Witch
comes to take her

My Beautiful Dreamer
Dreaming of Home and later,
places her hand on her heart
meets Her like a skater
on thin ice, Her Love could
drown her, she debates Her
like John the Revelator

My Beautiful Dreamer 
Places Her hand on her heart 
“I am with you never absent
always nearer,ne’er apart;
I'm your Volcano crater sacrifice.
Listen to this, she brings her closer,
“HOME is melting in your heart”.

She whispers to her Beautiful Dreamer
“Chantilly Lace and Lilacs, Forget-Me-Not”

My Beautiful Dreamer
Dreams of that last Summer
waking with her mother
turn back the hands of time
now child, 
somersault backwards

Little Mermaid, 
Closing eyes and Silver Fairies,
Magic Castles, Laughter,
barefeet beach, walks on water 
bomb dives, 
Fairy Bower,Treasure maps
Her Ocean Love Land
This glistening Kingdom 
buries boiler makers and butterflies
deep in a locked box with other things 
6ft under

My Beautiful Dreamer 
climbs inside her heart
there she will meet Her
they are never long apart
always close,Her LIGHT 
will bring her HOME
Lux Vitae baby 

My Beautiful Dreamer
Dreams of her 
Beautiful Dreamer
where HOME is 
beating time 
in their HEARTS
