My Angel...

Roll now the mirrored tears
Leaving behind a satchel of broken plates
No more leather straps to burden this heart
Memoirs and blades are but fading shadows
The rosary hand has given unto me
These Irish eyes in shades of the truest blue
Oh the comfort and warmth
The summer sand on the coast of a brilliant sea
Something a contrary child could not fathom
Though he wants it so
Something that will make me more,
Than any dream in the cold, cold night
My history has begun, my love proven
This millstone angel has given me her wings
And my valentines finally have flavor
To her I hand my heart,
Without fear for she has rescued me from the ghosts
Rose petals in the breeze
An ocean moon
In my arms,
My angel…
