Taoism perspective of life after death refers to the belief that one will die and be reborn in another being either human, animal, plant or other, based on their previous lives. This interpretation, should encourage human beings to do good and benefit others because their virtues will spread positive energy.

I was brought up Roman Catholic and it is like a warm blanket for me. I
love the ornate churches and their sublime architecture, I love the stained
glass windows, the statues, the divine art by masters, the feel of the wood
pews.  The scriptures are beautiful, the words comforting, the symbols and
rituals familiar. But, the Catholic church though they say the soul is eternal
and will exit in heaven it does not believe in reincarnation and I do, so I went
searching and found Taoism.

tao part of earth life and death-
                  time is circular

I feel the concept of the Tao path, the quest for balance and harmony. By
being internally present we are able to transcend.  I enjoy all aspects of
meditation, appreciation for nature and natural healing and diet for positive
energy.  Using my energy for good.  I am on a path to heal the past with
this faith, and this belief in reincarnation inspires me to be a better person
in this present existence. So, I want to live this life well to be reborn, over
and over.  And I muse that we can have two faiths, they can exist together. 
God and Tao are my friends and protectors, my teachers and I am devoted 
to both.


oh, why do I cling
to this short earthly life dream-
