Music Is My Life
Music is ….literally…my life!
Music is my heart and soul and lifeline
for when those moments of sadness, despair
or just “being out of sorts” happen in my life.
It is also moments of jubilation,
when my heart can’t contain my joy
and I rush to my instrument to express
the emotions that I am feeling!
It was my lifeline when my husband
lay dying and I needed to clear my head.
It offered such solace to both of us…
a respite from our overwhelming emotions.
It was my comforter…saving my sanity
After he was gone!
Though friends and family tried to comfort me
My instrument was my saviour…my rock…my world!
