Music of the Spheres

MUSIC OF THE SPHERES Imagine five-line staves Like telegraph wires. In the night sky each star Plays unheard music notes: Myriad faint starlets Quavering quietly, While belting it out are Bright breves like Sirius. ……………………………………………………………………………………………….. NOTE Try this for fun. Take a map of the night sky and draw the musical five-line stave across. Try to play the music of the notes’ pattern depicted by the stars.
