I like to get up early in the 'morn
for the flowers are calling me to come
I love the dew wet silence and stillness
and this is where I can meditate
and where my MUSE is waiting
close your eyes he whispers
I caress the blooms
the petunias like velvet and colors of gems
and the faithful geraniums always forgiving
the trailing ivy clinging and climbing
God has painted these just for me
open your mind MUSE murmurs
take my hand and we will journey
and the wind is caressing the flowers
and my hair is moving
I hear ocean waves and birds calling me
as I walk an ocean shore
my blood red filmy dress billowing
and I see MUSE has taken a shape
he is a mighty black horse galloping
and when we are side by side
I grab hold of his majestic black mane
and we are galloping and the wind is roaring
then suddenly we are flying for he has wings
over the deep endless endless aqua ocean
how long I do not know
for it seems like hours or even days
but when I open my eyes
I am in the garden
with my flowers gently swaying back and forth
like ocean waves and hidden birds are singing
and I know my MUSE is here
in the stillness of my garden
and I fall to me knees in prayer thanking God
for this new day ...
