Multishades of Love (Sonnet)
Reject all singular descriptives daughter!
All shades of light or dark or in-betweens,
Are part of our collective human blotter
Rejecting needs to feed the hate machines.
No monochromatic tattoo defines
A complex physiology by kind;
A label is a fable wanting shrines
Erected to intolerance of mind.
No white or black or this and that can meet
The skin's ancestral beauty shades displayed
On progeny of ancient blood elite
Reflecting multi-shades of love conveyed.
Within you daughter flows ancestral blood
Evolving toward the future from the flood.
