bone idle 'hippo' wallowing in self pity least your mud bath’s free! In the context of THIS poem personification could also be used as the form. 05~17~17

Hi Jan, Lovely poem! I found it because while I was out walking I thought of the concept of a hippo wallowing in self-pity, and went online to see if it had been used elsewhere. This poem is pretty much the only result I found, so good work! :-) Keep it up! Robin

Jan, what a great little poem, I love it and the picture is a perfect match. I just hope the 'hippo' is only into wallowing, not mud slinging:) Amitiés

Cheers Chris and this person can wallow on theirs for the rest of their life - shame she doesn't read my poetry then she is so 'blind' she wouldn't see the irony here:-( hugs Jan xx
