Mr Right Was Left

Mr. Right Was Left

To be right was his right
And everyone had to listen;
If, then, they disagreed,
Well, that was so much tension.

Mr. Right’s views were all his own,
Whether current events or not,
You have to feel so sorry for him,
Cause being “right” is all he’s got.

No friends stay around to console him,
When he hurts he’s alone in his gloom;
Those who would befriend him he insulted;
Compassion has left the room.

The title pulled me in. Hopefully he finally learns the RIGHT way. It's sad when one's own blindness perpetuates their loss of sight.

I agree w/Maureen. Such a sharp pen and even sharper wit. Wise poem of deep gravitas (truth trumps always.) Love and joy, my dear friend.

Nobody likes a Know-it-all! However, Real friends tend to overlook another friend's shortcomings. I'd say Mr Right had some flaky friends. lol Love the humor in this Sunlite.

This was fun Sunlite and I know people like this. I do feel sad for them at times because they do seem all alone and to me they express themselves like that for attention.
