Mouth Pains/Chilling(Poem#4-High School Years)

1. Mouth Pains: Like a howling in the night How my tooth burns Searing my mouth, like a hot iron pressed to flesh I grab at the bottle, like a human with asthma Gasp for air Please let the pill help my pain 2. Chilling: Cold as a witch's tit I trudged through the snow Looking for shelter, like a fox looks for its prey Bitter ice slashes my face Like a cold knife against gritty bread Nothing left on the land, white White as a fresh sheet for a fresh bed My gray cloak gives the land one color Grayness fills my days, months, years Like a cancer, gripping at me forever
