~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Still as the moonless night, settling on the hills
reflecting dawn’s gentle light, softly flowing
rustling sighs, music bursting forth, happy thrills
beneath rushing winds, gentling dreams, mind-blowing
breath of autumn paints the skies in healing hues
perfect leaves falling from trees who’ve stopped growing
whilst summer whispers to the moon, purple muse
soft prayers portray the twilight’s famous stay
though the blessings of nature may sometimes bruise
laughing rivers wash away morsels of clay
reminding souls to listen to hope’s warm voice
these mountains are so loyal, they’ll not betray
grace has silenced all our fears, given a choice
when all is said and done, we need to rejoice
