Mother Love
This story you may not believe,
but I knew she was meant to be.
In dreams she came, a form like an angel,
in a rhapsody of pure unconditional love.
Fathomless then and still to this day,
I saw her reflected in the twinkle of my eye.
I felt her tug gently at my heart strings.
Her thoughts and mine seeming as one.
Ever since I became that mother, loved
beyond reason through my darkest years,
guided by her calming spirit through my fears,
I know I shall embrace the quietus of eternity fulfilled.
