Notes About The Poem

Mother Earth's Plea

Mother Earth's Plea

Once upon a time I was so beautiful

Now my body is cluttered with pestilence,
I’m slowly dying inside.
Hear my suffering,
feel my rain of tears,
my seasons of grief and anguish

Please restore my magical beauty and charm,
the rhythm of harmony and balance
so I can survive

If you love me, keep me clean and recycle.
Everyone needs to pitch in!

The words took stage and treated the reader to a glimpse of your imagination as your magic pen danced and brought forth such lucid thoughts. Emile #7

oh my, it doubles as a poem for two things: the earth's body and those of us who are getting worse with age for all the toxins we have consumed in our lifetime. WELL done!!
