Mother Bird

I yearn to hide behind you; We’ll soar with the hummingbirds I discern a ride confined to Feel more with my loving words. In its emptiness down under, Blame the root of the ivy blue. Frame their roars of thunder, As they're sustaining for you. I yearn to rise beside you; We'll rest lonely in the deepening earth. I earn two eyes, denied true; Love can transcend us in all her worth. Who will guide me beyond death? Mother bird weeps an ocean; Tears rain as I gasp my last breath, Another word reaps our devotion. I yearn to fly without you; In the most charming fields Where the cool breeze shields, I learn that I can sprout, too. Without you.
