Mother
Do you have to resemble someone else?
Before I can say that you’re the best
You need not to be in a death bed
For me to reminisce all your good works
Thank you while you still alive
My other thanks to the Man above
There is none other who cared
So much to shed a tear,
When life seemed to be unfair
It was you and my best friends
-who shared with me in my pain
You consoled and not complain
You let me make mistakes
When I stumbled, you patiently bear
I once looked and saw sadness in your eyes
I listened and heard distress in your sighs
If you only knew
I worry more about you
When you worry about my problems
and then worry about me too
Sometimes I say I'm fine
Just not to stress you
I wonder how you feel down
But still keep your head up high
Praying for my better days
That’s why having you, I feel blessed
I greatly marvel at this love and care
So priceless, I can never repay
Need I use complex words?
I think I will simply say
Without you, life wouldn’t be the same
I LOVE YOU Mom
