Mother-Child
"I don't possess what I deserve,
Some one got it easily enough;
Should I not cry ma, should I not cry?"
"Cry my dear, if that's all it takes
to succeed, but do think again,
Can Envying get you one's fortune?
Effort that could help you achieve,
is instead wasted like your tears."
"I will not help anyone anymore,
I'm not lent a hand in return;
Should I not help ma, should I not help?"
"Don't help dear, End up punishing
one for the thanklessness of another.
Help, to bail out someone today
And not to secure yourself tomorrow."
"I could not accomplish my dream,
Attempted again but to no avail;
Shud I not give up ma, shud I not give up?"
"Give up dear, if triumph without trial
Is how you expect it to be,
Your struggle infact is the foundation,
On which shall evolve some day
a gleaming structure of your success."
" I'll heed your advice for sure
Toil harder but will not surrender,
Will I then be happy ma, will I then be happy?"
"Ofcourse my dear, it's everlasting joy
When you sculpt your own success,
When your help brings upon a smile,
When dreams once envied by you,
With sheer persistence do come true."
