Mosquito Bites

I must be really sweet because Mosquitoes seek me out. The same’s not true for bees, whose stings I’ll gladly do without. I rarely see the biter But of course, I feel the itch Which sometimes lasts a week or more, Another aging glitch. A skeeter bite annoys me. As a nuisance, none can match it Though there’s great relief in doing What I shouldn’t, which is scratch it!

You are lucky I have wood ticks all over my back. I am waiting for my daughter to show up for Father's day tomorrow hoping she will take pity on me and pull them off.

There were no mosquitoes in Hawai'i until ships arrived from Asia; now those Tigers are like loan sharks! Imagine what could have been accomplished if Putin had chosen to spend Russian wealth fighting mosquitoes instead of Ukrainians! Enjoyed, Ilene! Aloha!

I despise those buzzing little buggers. A little spit takes away the itching, temporarily. Good one, Ilene.

Oh, yes, Ilene. It seems they bother us more as we age. When I was much younger I paid little attention to them, but as I have grown older they persist to the point of great annoyance.
