His gaze stares irately, As his right arm rests on God’s work: The tablets of the law... Posed with extraordinary force, Tension in his swollen veins, With toned...defined muscles. He sits mightily...in his seat. Coiled locks pour from his angular face, Swept across the bulk of his chest, By magnificent...powerful hands. Raul, your soon to be named the Michelangelo of Poetry Soup. If you were to write a book on Ekphrasis form, by the masters - i think you would have a best seller. I can see it being offered for sale, even in Italian at the Cistine Chapel and other art orientated sites >> James

Awesome! I tried to create a poem entered in your contest on "The Deposition" by Michelangelo. It is my first time trying to write in this form. I think I failed miserably, but I will try again. Thanks for sharing a magnificent piece of poetry on art. Caroline.

Great words, Raul, very introspective into thoughts at the time Moses lived and led the people after having tasted the life of a prince .. he graciously submitted to God's Plan for his life as we all must do.. great write.. enjoyed.. thankxxx for your nice comments on my poetry also... much appreciated.. blessings... luv...
