On Romans 12: 19-20

Dearly beloved,
When thoughts of “getting even”
come into play.
Remember, “vengeance is mine
I will repay”.
With kindness heap coals of fire
on their head.
Don’t seek revenge but try
forgiveness instead.
God’s word clearly states we’re
not to avenge.
So allow in your heart, no place,
for revenge.
Romans 12:19-20
19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
20 “Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.”
