~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the soft morning light,
While dew drizzles its sigh
Over the petals of a blushing rose,
Silencing the reflections of prayers
Prayed gently, an intimate flow,
Embracing the sweetness of a promise,
Love smiling just beyond the horizon,
Where the moon is fading
And stars, still gazing, hesitate…
A breathtaking moment before dawn
Has her say, her moment, her chance to portray,
All the joy that comes to those
Who erase the night with a wonder,
Pleasant as the trembling tones of laughter,
Stirring hearts to remember, just remember…
Sunlight, peaceful and lulling,
Quieting even the last hint of a rhapsody
Broken into waves of ambiances,
Promises, endless praises,
Embracing the music, the hushed hopes,
Alive as the prayers who kiss away the darkness,
Leaving trails of candy cane smiles,
Beautiful as the stories we told the child,
Who is alive with pleasure that bleeds giggles,
Laughing away the last breath of shame,
Singing in glistening frostlike mazes,
Reverberating ballads,
Melodies in the heart, harmonies
Grown warm by the fireside of love,
The hearth of hope,
Fireside so friendly
It feels like the sun’s family…
Enchanting me – yes, mesmerizing as a dream,
Bleeding grace that truly believes,
Grace that plants the seed,
Sowed into souls who can see…
Beneath the Son…
This peace will forever be – never a weed,
Always, ‘tis agreed… simply believe.
