Morning Mist

The earth greets me shrouded in mystery All of her charms veiled to my sight. Then slowly, tantalisingly Swirling in seductive Salome dance She offers herself glimpse by glimpse. Until once again she stands before me Fully revealed in all her breathtaking beauty.

We are so fortunate to have this planet earth as our home, and yes she does show us breathtaking beauty. She also gives us poets and writers so much material to write about >> James

I had a heck of a time getting "Bell of Life" centered on this website. It's both a List form and a Shape poem. Do you prefer to be called "June"? Your mention of "Salome dance" in your poem "Morning Mist" impelled me to Google it and I learned the some details about the story of John the baptist beheading I didn't know including the dance.
