Moons Ago, An Hour Or So

You brushed my cheeks
with your soft fingertips
and I reached nirvana.
I wish you knew;
if you only knew your power!
With one kiss upon my brow,
you vanished...
before I could open my eyes
moons ago, about an hour or so.
It's inexplicable this wicked spell
you've cast on me.
I can't seem to shake it!
You've left me wanting
so much more.
Was it all a dream
or indeed true?
I long to hold you close...
again.
