a vase on the windowsill
and I'm gazing at the moon
whose radiant pearly beams
dazzle rose petals

fragrance awakes my senses
midway from sunset to dawn
and the moon's my only friend
in glittering night 

I am loving the nightlife
in my room of the full moon
sleepless but for these moments
of quiet beauty

Yes! Evelyn,long ago, around 16, sad age as my Dance of the Butterfly, I move my bedroom furniture around til my bed sat right under the window that received the moonrise. We too became friends! Yr poem made me realize truth we may see into the eyes ofthe moon as we dare not with thesun.I felt myself the rose Bravo!
