Moonlight

The moon light shined against your face
and in amazement I could see you for the first time
Your hair was black and white from all the wisdom you held within
  Your skin complexion shimmered
Your wings was as bright as the sun that reflexes off of the ocean bed
Moonlight shine your grace on me
in the blackest of night
Show me the way and I shall follow
Moonlight you was created by the creator for a purpose
to shine your light on me
when some say it couldn't be
I look upon you with amazement
because I can see you with clear eyes
  for the first time

This lovely, thought-provoking poem sheds new light on the power of the moon's glow to enable us to see ourselves with a new perspective and with clearer vision. Nicely done, April. Hugs and love.

Quite a lovely verse, April... the moonlight is so beautiful to behold, just as this poem is... I remember dearly, going on a moonlight hike at Yosemite National Park... one of the most beautiful moments was looking out at the valley with the moon lighting everything up beautiful.. the contrasts and shadows were glorious.." I look upon you with amazement because I can see you with clear eyes for the first time"....such a great ending to a fantastic poem! Will read some more soon! Always, Laura

Moon light and dark, white and black, full revolving, sometimes revolutionary, in sight. Thanks for sharing, and visiting over my way.

April, first, thank you for sharing Moonlight with me, it says that your heart chakra is opened to the universe. When you make that connection, all ill's become a non factor; suddenly, you can see just what you've been missing all along. I visit with my seven chakras everyday, through aroma therapy, and meditation. Moonlight, is a wonderful piece. Always Ken
