Moon Takes Tiny Glimpses
moon hides her eyes
playing peek-a-boo with the world
afraid to see us as we are
we feel her mirth
she is seasoned; so she laughs not
but she wills her feelings into our minds
moon takes tiny glimpses
snapshots of our night life,
all she can stand at one time
