I need a moment of forgiveness Deep inside my heart I appeal To you for the time for us I wrecked us from here to yonder When our world went asunder I am sorry for the pain you feel In that moment of forgiveness My heart would plead with yours Apologize for hurt I caused us Never should you have to wonder Now I wait, pray and ponder I want to make it right and more May 7, 2018

I think this poem should be longer. It is a good beginning, but it seems as though you need to say a little more. But it is really good poetry, and has a depth of feeling that is real and earnest.

These moments of forgiveness come around every so often, forgiveness could only be found in ones heart...your heart has spoken my dear...hoping theirs does as well...Very nicely written, Susan, All the best!

I really like this. The feeling / desire is familiar to me yet I don't think I've ever so creatively written it out. I think, in my case, it takes me to a favored and loved girlfriend I lost more than anyone else 'I lost.' Impressive, feel-delivering poem, Susan. Poetry hugs ... CayCay
