Modern Days
Modern Days
We live with the brutality of human kind,
a reality that calls for a hand divine.
This violent nature of mentality is strange,
a volcanity of actions with inanity of change.
There’s a new wave morality on the rise,
needing not the formality of legal ties.
Yet buried by a mundanity of human thought,
in the panic of urbanity, we are caught.
Vitality must infuse the poet’s mind,
or our dreams face fatality over time
Insanity’s profanity is worldwide dread.
May a fire of humanity quickly spread.
