Modern Day
Modern Day
Got up this morning
Prep for another day
Shoes tied, door locked
Headed out on the way
Then all of a sudden
World had gone insane
Never noticed the people
Driving down the left hand lane
Seems folks want change
For all to do as told
The sight makes me pull
To the side of the road
They say we're the cause of confusion
That we being belligerant
If we don't give in we be
Guilty cause of an accident
They all pass by top speed
Waving fists, shaking their head
Getting the worst looks
Guess I should walk instead
Voices are changing
They speak a babel talk
Don't like what I be preaching
Or the steps in which I walk
Yeah, they say we need change
Keep up with the modern way
To just forget that Jesus stuff
Thats all so yesterdsay
Yet whichever road we travel
And however new the day
We'll walk, drive or fly
Following in the Jesus way
They say we the cause of confusion
That we are being belligerent
To conform or else we'll be
Guilty cause of an accident
