Pat Adams Poet Limerick

Misunderstood

Mr. Stood named her "Under" because he could
But it really didn't do her much good
When they ask this,
"What's your name miss?"
She had to say, "I'm Miss Under Stood!"

About names Under just wasn't fair
When her boyfriend his love did declare
She already knew,
There'd be no, "I do!"
Simply because, his last name was Ware!
