Mists of Goodbye

Gray clouds gathering, distant eyes shrouded; inner vellum lids cannot disguise the fugitive from love you are. Your cherished, throbbing body near, Far, far away your misplaced mind; Hesitant words reach out to you, entangling in a torturous maze where two hearts stumble in the mists. I had to reread this one to make sure I got it. I agree with Carrie. that one line is terrific! The whole thing is a great depiction of two growing apart. Instead of ships that pass in the night, it's two ships that separate in the mist. it's funny but I was thinking of going a similar route as you did somehow, if and when i ever got around to doing this challenge!!
