Mistaken
She said to me that “ it’s me
The one who makes her heart sing again
The one who hold her in the dark
And bring back the sunlight in
she said that I give her a smile
After the storm had crashed down on her
And although she was caught in the rain
she was no longer afraid of the thunder
She said" that cupid heard her pray
When she met me that day
And the future looks so much brighter
Now that love has finally come her way
But how can I tell her now
That when I saw her looking so sad that day
that I was only trying to be a friend
trying to bring a little comfort her way
because my heart is with another girl
Who took it with her when our relationship end
and all roads from my heart leads to her
and even if I want to give my love again
I have never gotten over her
And I know that I never will
And every time I hear a love song
I realize how much I love her still
She said that love is inspired
By the beat of our hearts deep within
She said that she open her heart for me
And she can feel new love moving in
And the smile on her face
Brings tears to my heart
Because she so confident
That something wonderful was about to start
But how can I tell her now
That I'm just a broken man
Who was left at the altar
holding a ring in my hand
How can I give love
When the well has completely run dry
How can I tell her the truth
if its fill with some much lies
She takes me in her arms
And she kiss my lips
And I can feel the electricity
On her fingertips
But I don't want to use her love
no not like this
But how I do tell her now
That falling in love is not on my list
And the only girl I ever love
I know that she don't care
but she's carrying along my heart
With her everywhere
Inside I,m torn to pieces
But still, she thinks I make her complete
she mistook my friendship for love
which was never my intentions when we meet
and I know that she will cry
when I tell her, how she's mistaken
but I don’t k now when I could find the words
but for now, I don’t want her heart to start breaking
