Missing the Gold Wing

This is the time of year
I miss being on the Gold Wing
How I wish I were upon it
To feel the wind upon my back
Would feel oh.. so nice
To feel the wind upon my hair
Would be so very cooling
To be upon the gold Wing
Feels freedom from the car
Your whole body feeling the breeze
I miss the Gold Wing
I wish I were upon it
Maybe one day i'd meet
Someone with a motor bike
To ride here and there
To feel free upon the road

Adventurous poem, Darlene. Very bold are you, more than me. I couldn't ride that golden winged steed. Excellent poem from you as usual, lady. Love and joy always.

Would a white horse with wings do for you? He wants you to call him Pegasus.

the gold wing. I looked at the comments below to see it was a Honda. Yes it can feel so freeing. We had a few motorcycles in our time. All gone now, but my hubbie dearly loved his Harley. Great poem.

Yep! I am waiting for a guy I could meet that has a motorcycle. But I won't hold my breath.

This is so cool and sounds good. This poem is light and refreshing like a cold beer, full of self pride and freedom of the road on the back of a Goldwing. Emile.

Oh....so it's a motorbike you're craving. I wasn't sure what that Gold Wing was! :) Yes, having the wind dancing in your hair must be invigorating. Ride away...here and there...and feel free upon the road.
