Missing Piece
Diligently she
labors
gluing
her splintered heart
fragments
back together
But there's a missing piece
that just seems to be gone...
she's looked everywhere
just everywhere
Must be you took it
when you walked
out the door,
Stuffed it
in your pocket
and forgot
to give it back.
