Thank you so much, Eve. I really enjoyed writing it. Had cataract surgery this morning, so I've been napping all day and not much on PS. You have a wonderful week!

Congratulations for your placement! I was starting to think that Caren forgot or something, but then, she is busy posting away for at least two other poetry sights that I know of!

She does, indeed, and, yes, she forgets. So, I generally wait a few days and then remind her.

A good prescription for every day Milt. They say the people who read the comics in the newspapers first, live longer. Do people still read newspapers? Hmm!!! Laughter and mirth the fountains of youth and great healers! Congrats on your win! Sending you smiles.

Thank you, Sam. I'm a big proponent of at least one large belly laugh per day! More, if they can be arranged.

If anyone reads this and doesn't feel a smile across the lips, check for a pulse. This is exactly the kind of frivolous fun Caren loves. I wish you well in her contest.

This is a fav for me. We don't put enough importance on laughing. What a lovely gift God gave us to laugh. Have a lovely day... This is a great poem. Ann

Thanks so much, Ann. I agree wholeheartedly. Somewhere along the road to adulthood we tend to lose our ability to enjoy and laugh at the silly things. A good guffaw is wonderfully therapeutic.

the good thing about life is smiling, fraternizing with those we love, laughing!

A bit of Jack has rubbed off on you Milton, he puts me in a good mood for the rest of the day, the world needs more laughter right now. Good luck in the contest. Tom
