MIRROR My Friend

I see you looking at me,
so cunning and smug.
Must we start our day off like this?
I am your friend, 
please be my friend.
If I smile at you,
will you smile back?
See all it took was a smile.
Now I will be on my way,
 have a great day.

Great to see you here reading/writing on my fun "MIRROR My Friend" write. A Big "Thank You." Also Thanks for your, GL in the contest. Glad you found this to be, a fun poem. It was a ton of fun to bring to life. We need to make friends or cover them up where than can do No harm. Hahaha!!! Hugs... Should we listen to our mirror as we go writing away???

It was a ton of fun to bring to life. I Have been off Soup for 2 weeks. I needed an Ink Transfusion. Hahaha!!! Now back/Writing Away.... Should we listen to our mirror as we go writing away???

I don't trust the mirror, till I've had a second cup of coffee. Then I squint when I shave, helps with reflection. Actually, a shave for me is just a trim, never letting the mirror truthfully in. I can live comfortably with some lies. Enjoyed your Mirror very much, Paula. Fun read.
